THE GREAT IMPORTANCE OF
ALL THE DOCTRINES OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST
Part 1
All of us in the entire sphere of
this habitable planet earth should know well the great importance of all the doctrines of the LORD JESUS CHRIST.
Here are the Biblical reasons:
“Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth
not in the doctrine of Christ hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of
Christ,he hath both the Father and the Son”(2Jn.9);
“If there come any unto you, and
bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God
speed”(2Jn.10).
The Apostle Paul had given warning, to the brethren in his epistle to the
Romans; he wrote to them, and said: “mark
them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have
learned; and avoid them .For they that are such serve not our LORD JESUS CHRIST
but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of
the simple.”(Ro.16:17-18).
In these latter days, many
claimed that they are Christians,
and identify themselves as followers of the LORD JESUS, but they don’t want to
learn the LORD’S doctrines, by their reason based on their absurd opinion that,
“ doctrinal teachings nor preaching with doctrine is not important to the church congregations
anymore, and they just need to hear, and learn about Christian living principles.”
They don’t really know, that the Biblical Christian living (Ezek.33:13 Ro.14:8; Phil.1:21; 4:13; Gal.2:20;) can be truly
obtainable, just by learning the doctrinal principles that had been laid
down by the LORD JESUS in all of His given instructions, in order to fashion
our character into His own personal character which is Holy, (Lev.11:45; Is.64:8;Eph.2:10; 1Pe.1:15-16).
In the Hebrew word, doctrine is (leqach), the meaning: something
received, i.e. instruction (whether on the part of the teacher, or hearer). In
Greek word, it is (didache) that mean instruction.
Therefore, doctrines are instructions, in the real sense of its meaning,
and the written word of God are full of edifying, enlightening, directive, and
beneficial doctrines for all who desire to have wisdom, from the necessary
instructions of the LORD JESUS, “ The
fear of the LORD is the instruction of wisdom; and before honor is humility”(Pr.15:33).
Those who miss interpreted the true meaning of Christian Living
erroneously think, that it is just for
life time of enjoying tangible material blessings of the LORD JESUS, and obsessions with
expectation to have financial prosperity, evading the rightly directive
doctrine of the Holy Scriptures that we
must seriously consider this: “ Perverse
disputing of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth ,supposing that
gain is godliness: from such withdraw thy self. But godliness with contentment
is great gain(1Tim.6:5-6).
All true Christians anywhere in this finite world, knew well, that the LORD
JESUS given doctrines for all of His just, and faithful
adherents, is to live by faith in Him (Hab.2:4 ;Ro.1:17;Gal.3:11; Heb.10:38;11:6), Hence,
the precisely right Christian Living Biblically, is to have unwavering,
irrevocable, great faith to the LORD JESUS who alone is the author and finisher
of our faith (Heb.12:2).
The true Christian Life is life in
JESUS, ( Ac.17:28; Ro.14:8; Col.2:10;3:4
) it is life that forever will remain all for JESUS, with irrevocable
covenant for Him alone, in accordance to the self binding commitment to love
the LORD in sincerity and in truth (Deut.6:4-5; Mk.12:30).
The LORD JESUS righteously said to those who are not interested to keep on learning His doctrines: “This
people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. Howbeit in
vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of
men,”(Mk.7:6-7).
In the book of Proverbs, there is motivation for us; “To know wisdom and
instruction; to perceive the words of understanding: To receive the instruction
of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity”(Pr.1:2-3).
In observation to many people, they have chosen to believe in
superstitions, in pagan traditions, renouncing the great importance of the
beneficial eternal doctrines of the LORD JESUS CHRIST, and because of these wickedness and abominable transgressions, God
the Father and the LORD JESUS CHRIST are not in them (2John9).
The prophetic message of the
Apostle Paul to Timothy eventually
happen now, to many sectarian churches , even to the called church of the LORD
JESUS, in his epistle to Timothy he explicitly
wrote: “Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove,
rebuke, exhort with long
suffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound
doctrine; but after their own lust shall they heap to themselves teachers,
having itching ears; and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and
shall be turned unto fables”
(2Tim.4:2-4).
(2Tim.4:2-4).
Now in these latter times according
to the reminder of the Spirit, that some
shall depart from the faith, giving heed in seducing spirits, and doctrines of
devils (1Tim.4:1-2), they are nonconformist to the absolute, infallible,
and enlightening doctrines of the Great teacher of the Truth, the LORD JESUS
CHRIST.
In the appropriated given knowledge of the truth by the LORD
JESUS CHRIST, we can discern those who are not truly belonging to the disciples,
flock, sheep, or faithful
adherents of Him (Ro.16:17-18). His true followers have fervent desire to
have continuous learning of His edifying doctrines that will never pass away
(Mt.24:35).
The LORD JESUS in His perfect will for all His called diligent servants
in His ministry, want all of them, to have sagacious wisdom which the adversary
of the LORD won’t be able to thwart (Mt.10:16); that they may not be carried
away by any strange doctrines of the deceitful followers of the devil
(Ep.4:13-14).
Awareness to discern with analytical probation, (1Thes.5:21;1Jn.4:1-3) those who extremely disregard the great
importance of the LORD JESUS doctrines is rightly acceptable in the sight of the LORD; because there were false Apostles and prophets in the days of Paul, the faithful servant of the LORD JESUS (2Cor.11:13-15);comparatively with false Christians in these latter days.Pretending to be Christians, having works in the LORD'S ministry, but with the subtle way of their deceptions, they misled even the LORD'S people (Mt.24:24) to deviate from following the LORD'S infallible doctrines.
"And no marvel; for satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness whose end shall be according to their works (2Cor.11:14-15).
"And no marvel; for satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness whose end shall be according to their works (2Cor.11:14-15).
In the light of Biblical knowledge given by the LORD JESUS for us, we can
discern now, that anyone who disregard, opposed, contradict, distort, replaced, maligned and renounce the great
importance of His infallible doctrines, can be identified as diabolic servant
of the devil (Pr.13:13;Mt.12:30;2Thes.2:4).
All commandments of the LORD have
doctrines (instructions ),e.g.in Exodus 20 from His ten commandments, He gave
instructions, or doctrinal rules: “Thou shalt have no other gods before Me;
Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image,or any likeness of any thing
that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the
water under the earth :etc..(Ex.20:3-4) .
The first five books of the Bible: viz. Genesis ,Exodus, Leviticus,
Numbers, Deuteronomy, have many doctrines (instructions) ,the entire book of
the BIBLE as the written word of God, (John 20:31) and as testimony of the LORD JESUS (Rev.19:10) declared, that "all Scriptures is given by inspiration of God, and profitable for doctrine, for
reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness.”
Now, anyone with extreme antipathy
against the great importance of all the doctrines of the LORD JESUS,
cannot be identified as true Christian, for the reason that the true disciple, follower, servant of the LORD
JESUS diligently continue in His word, and know the truth (Jn8:31-32).
