THE JUST SHALL LIVE
BY FAITH

In our life
existence; there is Biblical, and spiritual principle, to rightly live in
harmony with God’s instructive way, to live in His right direction. And to live
in His right direction is to obey Him in His instructions, how to live in
accordance to His perfect will. And He
taught us that the just shall live by faith, (Hab. 2:4; Rom. 1:17; Gal. 3:11;
Heb. 10:38; 11:6).
To have well
comprehension regarding knowledge about faith, it is explained plainly in the
written Holy Scriptures; “Now
faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen” NASB-Quotation from the New American Standard Bible
Why is it that
faith is of great significance for all of us here in the world? Certainly
because the LORD JESUS gave instruction for all of us: “And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to
God must believe that He is and that He is the rewarder of those who seek
Him.”(Heb.11:6) NASB
To
have direct access to God, who is the creator, provider, redeemer, salvation,
and the righteous judge over all, and all in all, the LORD JESUS
CHRIST,(Is.44:24; Acts 17:25; Acts 4:12; John 5:22; Col. 3:11) we must live by
faith in Him, for the just shall live by faith: “BUT MY RIGHTEOUS ONE SHALL LIVE BY FAITH; AND IF HE
SHRINKS BACK, MY SOUL HAS NO PLESURE IN HIM” (Heb.10:38)NASB
Faith will be null and void if we don’t have great
love for the LORD JESUS who is the author and perfecter of our faith,
(Heb.12:2). It is quite clear from the given instruction and revealed truth of
the LORD, through the Apostle Paul. that faith must be fixed with great love to the LORD JESUS who graciously fulfill
the realization of our faith. The instruction herewith should be
considered seriously for humility, in subjecting ourselves for the obedience of
faith to Him (Rom.1:5; 16:26). “If I have the
gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so
as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. And if I give all my possession to feed the poor, and
if I surrender my body to be burned, but do not have love, it profits me
nothing (1Cor.13:1-3). So let it be known
that- “If any man love not the LORD JESUS
CHRIST, let him be Anathema- (accursed). Maranatha.”KJV
Faith which is
unwavering; steadfast, that remain focus to the LORD JESUS CHRIST alone,
(Heb.12:2) thereby, acknowledged trust, and certainty of hope in Him for His
commitment to do whatever favor we ask in His name (John 14:13-14).
God the Father sent
His only begotten Son the LORD JESUS CHRIST for us to believe in Him, that we
may not perish, (John 3:16). The word believe is “pisteuo” in the original Geek
text of the Bible, and it explicitly mean- to have faith in the LORD JESUS alone
exclusively. And the LORD said to those who asked Him what to do, so that they
may work the works of God: “This is the work of
God that you believe Him whom He has sent” (John 6:29).
When anyone have
direct access to the LORD JESUS by faith in Him, all request, whatever it is
which are not contrary to His will, that he will ask will certainly be heard,
(John14:13-14;1John 5:14).
Not all have direct
accessibility to the LORD JESUS, because
many have intentionally focus their faith to false gods, to the decease person,
and to molten images made by hands which is the object of their idolatry
(Ps.115:4-7; Jer,1:16; Is.44:9-11). Therefore, in their obstinate idolatrous
manner, the LORD does not hear their prayers addressed intentionally to their
idols. “The
LORD is far from the wicked, But He hear the prayers of the righteous”
(Pr.15:29) NASB. And many who
believed in the LORD JESUS knew this indisputable truth: “We know that God does not hear sinners, but if
anyone is God-fearing and does His will, He hears him” (John 9:31). NASB
The
idolatrous people have asserted claim that their prayers to Mary with many
ascribed Lady’s name, and to man made idols; such as their- “ Santo Nino,” and
Black Nazarene, had answered their prayers. It is an absurd assertion against
the truth, because the LORD JESUS CHRIST alone is exclusively the great
responsible giver, sustainer, for all His created mankind to receive
subsistence (Acts17:25). In His equilibrium dealing for all, even to perpetual
sinners living without faith and not devoted to Him, to let them know that His
goodness must lead them to repentance. “Or do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and
tolerance and patience, knowing that the kindness of God leads you to
repentance?” But because of your stubbornness and unrepentant heart you are
storing up wrath for yourself in the day of wrath and revelation of the
righteous judgment of God,
WHO WILL RENDER TO EACH PERSON ACCORDING TO HIS DEEDS” (Rom.2:4-6). The LORD JESUS Himself, not their dumb idols deal to them
loving kindness, by sharing things they need that they may know that Him alone
is the exclusive giver of subsistence for all, even for all His creation, (Acts
17:25).
How can a dumb
graven image which is their idol respond to their prayers? Knowing that- “ Their idols are silver and gold, The works of man’s
hands, They have mouths but they cannot speak; They have eyes but they cannot
see; They have ears but they cannot hear; They have nose but they cannot smell;
They have hands but they cannot feel; They have feet but they cannot walk; They
cannot make a sound with their throat.” (Ps.115:4-7). Faith never can be
applicable to ascribe it to dumb idols, those who do it have obsession to
satanic rites which is against the commandments of the LORD JESUS CHRIST
(Exo.20:1-5; Deut. 7:5,25-26).
The book of Hebrews
chapter eleven enumerated the people of God who lived with great faith to the
LORD JESUS CHRIST. They did not shrink back in their steadfast faith; in their
life situation, each of them had experienced varied unsuitable, and insurmountable
circumstances wherein they remained having fixed determination to live by faith
to the creator of all things, the LORD JESUS CHRIST (Gen. 1:1-27; Is.44:24;
45:12; John 1:3; Col. 1:16; Heb.1:2,10). They all passed away, but they gained
approval for their unwavering faith in their lifetime (Heb.11:2). Therefore, we
that remain alive must learn to have great faith to Him who alone is the giver
of life, and life which can be extended to immortality (John 10:27;11:25-26).
Hence, by following
the righteousness of God when we live having irrevocable faith in the LORD
JESUS; that we will obtain blessed life in Him, for the reason that He said
metaphorically: “I am the vine, you are the
branches, he who abide in Me, and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from
Me you can do nothing”(John 15:5).
All created human
kind have limitation, because no one else has capability to do all things,
because all are in finite reality. The reason why all created human kind in the
whole world must be totally, absolutely, have exclusive dependency to the LORD
JESUS, who alone is- the giver of all things for all. “The God who made the world and all things in it, since He is LORD of
heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands; nor is He served
by human hands as though He needed anything, since He Himself gives to all
people life and breath and all things;”…(Acts 17:24-25).
This must be well
understood, that He will give all things just
for all who will irrevocably commit, subject, their faith, hope, and
sincere-never changing love for Him (1Cor.3:21-23). Because all
unrepentant sinners until death will forever be in eternal damnation, torment,
and agony in hell, and lake of fire, their eternal destiny where there is no
providence of any good things from the LORD, but just eternally burning fire
and brimstone; (Rev.21:8) and worms that never die from hell (Mk. 9:43-44)
which will be thrown in the lake of fire.(Rev.20:14).
THE REMARKABLE
FAITH THAT IS PLEASING TO THE LORD JESUS
And when JESUS
entered Capernaum, a Centurion came to Him, imploring Him, and saying, “LORD, my servant is lying paralyzed at home
fearfully tormented.” JESUS said to him, “I
will come and heal him” But the
Centurion said, “LORD, I am not worthy for You
to come under my roof, but just say the word, and my servant will be healed.
For I also am a man under authority, with
soldiers under me, and say to this one, go and he goes, and to another Come!
and he comes, and to my slave, Do this and he does it.” Now when JESUS
heard this He marveled and said to those who were following, “ Truly I say to you, I have not found such great faith with anyone in
Israel.”(Matt. 8:5-10) NASB.
A Canaanite woman
earnestly asked the LORD JESUS CHRIST “to have
mercy for her, that her daughter is cruelly demon possessed” But He answered and said “ I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel,” But
she came and begun to bow down before Him saying “LORD help me” And He answered
and said, “It is not good to take the
children’s bread and throw it to the dogs” But she said, “Yes LORD, but
even the dogs feed on the crumbs when fall from their master’s table.”Then JESUS said to her, “O woman, your faith is great, it shall be done for you as you wish.”And her
daughter was healed at once.
Great faith of many
faithful followers of the LORD JESUS were written in Hebrews chapter 11 for our
edification, that we may live for Him, to have remarkable faith which cannot be
shaken by any insinuation of doubt.
The LORD JESUS
disclosed that the little faith (Matt.6:30;17:20) that anyone has must have
grown up, to be a remarkable great faith. And we must renounce wavering faith
that will be rejected outright by the LORD JESUS CHRIST. “ But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God,
who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to Him. But he must ask in faith
without any doubting for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven
and tossed by the wind. For that man
ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the LORD, being a
double- minded man, unstable in all his ways”(James 1:5-8).
Salvation can just
be attained by faith in the LORD JESUS CHRIST; that it is the gracious work
perfectly accomplished by Him alone once and for all. Not by works of anyone
that no one may boast. (Eph.2:8). Therefore, great faith with hope, and
irrevocable love without restraint, are the three significant deal that we must
faithfully render to the LORD JESUS CHRIST (1Cor. 13:13). And these faith,
hope, and love, must be totally, absolutely, and exclusively all for JESUS.
